Lens Replacement
Send your damaged headlights to us, we repair and return. Our typical turnaround for refurbishment is 3 working days.
Prices start from £356 for a single headlight repair and £695 per pair, inclusive of return postage within the U.K (tracked and insured).
Our range covers all 911, Boxster & Cayman derivatives from 997 through to 992 and 987 through to 718.
Core Exchange & GT/S Conversions
Exchange your damaged lights for set of refurbished units. Available for selected models, we can have a set of repaired lights to you in 48 hours. Ideal for owners seeking minimal downtime.
Prices start from £331 for a single headlight repair and £645 per pair with exchange discount.
Lens Failure Modes
The polycarbonate lenses fitted to 981 and 718 Boxster/Cayman, 991 and 992 911 models typically fail in one of three ways:
Bezel Cracking and Splintering
Particularly prevalent on 981 and 718 models is splintering of the outer bezel from stone chips or pressure being applied.
Lens Crazing
Also known as 'spidering' due to the web-like pattern permeating through the lens. Usually particularly noticeable when headlights are switched on.
Delamination
The most common type of lens failure resulting from the outer protective layer of the lens breaking down. Typically presents as a chipped or peeling effect.
Repair Process
Removal of the bonded lens from modern Porsche headlights requires specialist tools and practised technique to avoid damage to the casing, sealing channel and internal parts.
